"My mistake" I said before the ice even hit the ground. The refrigerator had always been moody when dispensing ice, releasing it sporadically. An action I instantly personified as careless, I have an instinct to personify the inanimate. I looked to the floor where the ice had shattered and began to melt. I imagined what it would do to the communities of organisms being flooded and drowned by an indifferent machine.
It was in this moment I imagined this piece, a world where the indifferent destroy the environment and its residents. This snow leopard is made out of the three states of matter being affected by industrial heat.
