The Jaguar has been placed on the endangered list because of the value of its fur, and the threat it poses to farmers. A special Tiger Hunter is often hired to hunt Jaguars, by farmers. 
This piece took months to complete, and required an overhaul of my computer just to complete. Inspired by the beauty and the stealth of the Jaguar, its fur in this piece is colored and textured in a number of different styles to represent a Jaguars ability to blend in as it hunts, and it's truly staggering beauty.
